74. Blue painted single door pine cupboard, flat fitted door covering
4 interior shelves, 23 1/2" x 12 3/4" x 48" tall, old blue paint on the front and one side over the old red
paint overall, late 18th/early 19th century, New England origin. Provenance: A southern New Hampshire collection. $1250.

75. Very small early 18th
century one drawer New England blanket chest in red paint. Wooden pintal hinges, all pine, double arch moulding, dovetailed
drawer. Red paint has fabulous wear, color and patina. Hinge rail on lid is an old restoration, some mouldings are replaced.
Stamped "CHS" for Connecticut Historical Society. This amazing little chest is pictured in Wallace Nutting's "Furniture
of the Pilgrim Century" on page 48, ex. George Dudley Seymore collection, Wadsworth Atheneum and The Connecticut Historical
Society. Case is 18" long x 17" tall x11" deep. $4900.
